The Crapped Out iTouch

I think my itouch has finally started to fall apart. I have come to the conclusion that it is time for something new. I have narrowed it down to three possible options: get a new iTouch, ZUNE, or ZUNE HD. Please comment with what you think I should get. your comments will be payed attention to.

It seems that ZUNE is winning. Someone has to make a better pitch for Apple

dont get either and just get an ipad lmaoo!!! seriously tho get a new itouch as the zunes all have a concistant harwarer and software malfunctions that eventually lead to their version of the infamous “blue screen of death” or if your an xbox user “red ring of death” lol

I never had ANY BSODs and I’ve used both 32 and 64 bit versions of Zune. I have a Zune 120 and I never had any problems nor any threat of one.

    Hmmm, so much to say.

Well, a flash based Zune (4-16 GB) is OK and at least with hard drives you have massive capacities (for both the firmware is the same so the browsing experiance is the same, Zune HD is different).

However the Zune HD enhances the music browsing experiance and the Zune app for Windows is so refreshing form iTunes. Its a lot of eye candy and SHOULD revolutionize the way we browse around our collection of pictures, music and videos.

Also with the OLED screen the colors are richer and dark is actually dark (although they say its a ‘power saver’ its only true if what you’re mostly looking at is dark photos/videos or browsing your music, anything bright/colorful for too long drains the battery, but even so, you should be fne).

Even for video is has a higher resolution than the iPod Touch and can store videos in HD (hence the ‘HD’) but you’ll see the HD part when going for video output via a HDMI cable to a TV or Moniter.

What is bad though are the available apps for the Zune HD. Since its not as famous as the iPod Thouch/iPhone it has some apps (it has nice Facebook and Twitter apps though, super beautiful) and unless Microsoft has balls, the competition would be really fierce against Lord Jobs.

As for the iPod Touch, if you really want and use the widely available apps (free or paid that shit is good) then get one.

Bottom line- You want a ton of apps available for use or a different (yet beautiful) experiance of browsing through your music/pics/videos on a beautiful, higher res screen?

My point of view- Zune is REALLY easy to use, iTunes is not. But you have a shitTON of apps and the music experiance is OK. Zune is really beautiful but Zune HD is the shit.
If you want a Zune I suggest the Zune HD although you do have to look at the price and stuff. If you are happy with the iPod Touch then hey! No one is stopping you.

I hoped this helps, thanks for reading a piece of this (yea its too long but then again, this is ALL from the top of my head).

You also forgot to mention that ZUNE’s are cheaper.
